"Solid North," Emerges as Top Choice in 2025 Elections Survey

The recently formed "Solid North" party-list has emerged as a leader among “Top Choice Party-lists” for the upcoming 2025 Midterm Elections.

In a October survey conducted by "Tangere" from October 1-4, 2024, data reveals that the Solid North Party-list is ahead among voter support from a pool of 44 party-lists with a strong chance of securing representation in the House of Representatives.

According to the Tangere survey, the Solid North Party-list is projected to win a seat in the House, marking a significant milestone compared to veteran party-list groups such as ACT-CIS, 4Ps, and Ako Bicol. Also vying for seats are Malasakit@Bayanihan, Agri Party-list, and FPJ Panday Bayanihan.
The Tangere survey included a sample size of 2,400 respondents using a mobile-based app and a stratified random sample method.

According to “Solid North” chairman and national president of the League of Municipalities of the Philippines, La Paz, Abra Mayor JB Bernos Ching Bernos, this survey result is a great honor and serves as an indication of mandate. If given the chance to gain a legislative seat, he stated, they will devote all their efforts to public service.

The Solid North Party-list is said to represent around 15 provinces in northern Luzon, specifically in Regions 1, 2, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and three additional provinces, embodying the identity of "Timpuyog ti Amianan" or "Unity in the North."

The primary goal of Solid North is to ensure that development projects in the northern region are felt and realized.
Tangere Chief Executive Officer Martin Peñaflor noted that the survey results show the high interest of voters in party-list groups that are genuinely concerned with promoting the welfare of underserved communities, particularly those addressing the needs of farmers and the agricultural community.
